Motivation

The E-training for Sport Professionals represents an excellent opportunity to debate new theoretical and methodological trends and to share successful experiences from the perspective of educational software for sports training, e-learning for human resources in sport, e-games for physical education, sport and kinesitherapy.

The workshop will offer a generous and useful framework, in which different approaches will be presented and common projects will be designed.

Impact and expected outcomes

The workshop will be organized within the Erasmus Plus Sport Project: A Virtual Reality Approach in Learning about Doping (VIRAL)  (coordinated by University Aristotelis of Thessaloniki, Greece; project partners: Sheffield Hallam University UK, National University of Physical Education and Sports - Romania, Lithuanian Sport University - Lithuania, Cyprus Sports Organisation - Cyprus, European Network of Academic Sports Services, YMCA Thessaloniki - Greece). Within the workshop, the partners will disseminate the results of their researches and will present future ways of topic development. In the same time, new project ideas will be discussed and new partnerships will be built.

This event is expected to continue the successful initiative of eLSE Conference and to encourage the development of a community of practice able to contribute to the sport science progress.

Main workshop organizer and other organizers

The workshop organizer is the National University of Physical Education and Sports Bucharest (UNEFS).

The organizer are inviting specialists from physical education, sports and kinesitherapy fields, young researchers, master students and doctorate students which are interested to share their experiences in e-training. Specialists from other areas are encouraged to present their interdisciplinary researches applied in sport.

All the participants have to present their papers in English language.
